Is CloudStack Canvas free?
Yes — the Free tier gives you 1 active project, up to 15 nodes per canvas, 5 exports per month, Simple mode, and CloudFormation JSON export. No credit card required.
What does Pro include?
Pro ($39/month) unlocks 20 projects, 200 nodes per canvas, unlimited exports, Simple + Advanced mode, all 35+ AWS services, CloudFormation JSON & YAML, Terraform export, bidirectional IaC sync, Organization collaboration, and the cost estimation panel.
What is an Organization?
An Organization is a shared workspace available on Pro and Enterprise plans. You can invite other subscribed members, collaborate on shared projects, and control access with roles: Owner, Admin, Editor, and Viewer. Pro supports up to 5 members and 10 shared projects. Enterprise is unlimited.
What IaC formats does CSC support?
Free tier includes CloudFormation JSON. Pro and Enterprise add CloudFormation YAML, Terraform, and bidirectional IaC sync. CDK (TypeScript) export is on the roadmap.
Does CSC deploy infrastructure for me?
Not yet — CSC generates production-ready IaC templates which you deploy via the AWS Console, CLI, or CI/CD pipeline. Direct deploy integration is planned for a future release.
How does Organization billing work?
Each member of an Organization must have their own active Pro or Enterprise subscription. The Organization owner controls who is invited and what role they have. You are billed individually — there is no shared team invoice at this time.
How do I reset my password?
Use the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in page. If you signed up via Google or GitHub, use that same provider — password reset does not apply to OAuth accounts.
Is my infrastructure data secure?
All project data is stored encrypted at rest. We do not share your architecture diagrams with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
